We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Controller to join our newly built multi-user site in Corby.
As the Warehouse Controller you will manage the Day and Back shift accordingly, reporting into the Warehouse Manager you will be required to oversee the day to day operations of the warehouse to ensure that the smooth and efficient operational activities are managed in order to meet and exceed the customer expectations.
Allocate work to your team in a fair manner, whilst ensuring operational requirements are met
Ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all operational targets and KPI
Ensure that detailed procedures for inclusion in the Contract Operations Procedures Manual are maintained for correctness
Ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled to highest possible standards at all times
Ensure that adequate staff are trained across all client functions to cover holiday, sickness and absence
Ensure excellent working relationships with the clients and internal customers
Monitor, record and maintain responsibility for lateness and absenteeism and take appropriate action within levels of authority
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Previous warehouse supervisory experience within a warehouse and/or distribution environment
Proven experience of managing and motivating teams with the ability to delegate when necessary
Excellent communicational skills - both written and verbal
Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety policies and procedures
IT Literate with knowledge of warehouse IT systems - able to produce reports when required
