Visual Merchandising Assistant

Your role will be a key support the Regional Visual Merchandiser in ensuring the company standards are always maintained. As part of the team you will be required to work in a number of stores within the Central region, ensuring your responsibilities for the business are met.

Role responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day accurate order and delivery of display product, including use of systems and liaising with management.
  • Ensure the smooth running of our store openings refits and refreshes by pro actively planning and managing the resource required.
  • Alongside the VM, effectively plan any furniture range moves within the store.
  • Responsible for the delivery and placement of display product into the stores, during new range launches and New Store Openings.
  • The role includes - moving our furniture from our delivery vehicles into the store, as well as painting, decorating and general DIY.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required

Experience required:

  • Working within a team the candidate must have excellent communication skills, especially when liaising with management level colleagues.
  • A well-organised, detailed and methodical planner.
  • Ability to show initiative, be self-motivated and a good leader with a 'can do’ attitude.
  • Manage your time effectively and flexibly to meet with the business requirements.
  • Experienced in all aspects of DIY including the use of power tools and decorating, to a high standard.
  • Experience of moving and assembling large furniture and or similar sized products.
