EllisKnight are partnered exclusively with a rapidly growing Cyber Security business based in central Reading to recruit a Techncial Business Coordinator to join their innovative and knowledgeable Business Operations team.

Technical Business Coordinator

This is a varied role supporting the Business Operations team in maintaining procurement, budget management and business architect functions within the business.

The Technical Business Coordinator will hold an integral role within the Business Operations team with a progression path to either Business Architecture/Stakeholder Management or Procurement.

  • Support the Business Architects in successful delivery of account engagement plans
  • Co-ordinate and input in to the creation of regular service reports
  • Ensure all Business Operation service gate items are being monitored and completed
  • Co-ordinate the purchasing function for service delivery
  • Monthly reconciliation of Service budget schedules
  • Supplier management for resolution of outstanding issues
  • Organise client-facing meetings and provide internal reports as appropriate
  • Ensure Business Operations documentation is completed and conforms to ISO 9001 standards
  • Ensure all actions generated from the Business Operations team are tracked and delivered as planned


Degree level or relevant qualifications/experience.
Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Demonstrable success in working in a managed service environment, with practical knowledge of ITIL best practice
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), advanced skills in Excel
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a CRM system.
  • Experience of working in contractual and commercial environments
  • Logical and analytical mindset with strong people management skills


  • Ability to work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to a high standard of quality and attention to detail
  • Articulate and confident with an exceptional telephone manner
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, team player
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate security clearance.
