Service Engineer (Workshop/Mechanical Technician)

Service Engineer role available in a successful and growing rental equipment company. The role will suit those looking for a professional and friendly company offering training and career development.
The role will suit those from any mechanical hands on service/maintenance skills. Specific training on the equipment will be provided. For example training on control panels will be given and a forklift licence will be provided if required.
The role is split between workshop & field based. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and servicing generators. The role primarily entails changing filters, oil, components and general service and repair work to a range of generators (not engine diagnostic work). When in the field you will be expected to travel to customers sites across the local area, any expenses will be paid for by the company. Part of the role includes using a forklift to unload/load equipment and whilst completing all documentation regarding work carried out.

*Team player and comfortable dealing with clients face to face
*Happy to do call out and any travel when needed
*Basic IT competency
