Description: Job from: Deloitte -
Expanding your HR skill set is your priority. You are looking for a new challenge and want to further your career in a stimulating role. You get a buzz from working at pace and know your common-sense approach delivers great results. If this rings true, then a role in our busy HR Onboarding team could be for you.
Ensuring all our new hires, from summer students through to Partners, have a seamless and welcoming experience is absolutely central to the role. End-to-end management of each candidate means you will be involved with pre-employment screening, compliance checking, contract production and updating our systems. It’s a complex role - you’ll need to analyse information and know how to overcome barriers in order to manage everyone’s expectations. Our people are vital to us, so we’ll rely on you to ensure new hires are up and running from day one.
Your work, your choice
How long does impact take? How long is a piece of string? How many seconds does a solution contain? How can we possibly tell? After all, impact can be huge or small. Immediate or years in the making. At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk.
We, therefore, carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. If the working pattern you are looking for is not specifically indicated below, we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements.
Location: Central Milton Keynes
Suggested work pattern:
Full time or Job Share
Monday - Friday Shifts between 08.30 and 17.30
Agile working options available, 1 day per week from home where business needs allow.
Your professional experience
You should have proven experience of working in a HR administration role and preferably you will have gained or be studying towards your CIPD (or similar). You should be able to demonstrate you are a team player with a calm, courteous manner and be confident you can communicate professionally at all times. Microsoft Office skills are a must.
Your service line
Internal Client Services
At Deloitte, we’re all about collaboration. And nowhere is this more apparent than among our 2,000-strong internal client services team. With our combined specialist skills, we provide all the essential support and advice our client-facing colleagues need, right across the firm. We impact every area of our business, every day. From solving IT issues quickly and efficiently, to ensuring our people get the best possible training, to guiding colleagues on their tax and pensions. From our centralised hubs in Milton Keynes and Cardiff, we live, breathe and deliver the Deloitte experience.
