OrionGroup are looking for a Project Analyst on behalf of our multinational medical devices client based in the West Yorkshire area on an initial 12 month contract.

Responsible for leading the data analytics related to new product introductions and acquisition projects. The main aim of the role will be to analyse large data sets and to provide regular reports, identifying key risks that may negatively impact the project deliverables. Supporting various projects with data analytics to provide meaningful insights and dashboards for management reporting. The role will contribute to the business goals by providing analytical information to support commercial decision making.

Key functions:

  • Analyse data from multiple Planning sources along with Master Data inputs to effectively track project performance versus plan and to identify risks.
  • Monitor system and process accuracy.
  • Produce reports and dashboards as required by the business.
  • Effective communication to a wide group of stakeholders.
  • Support and implement new tools to enable quicker decision making.
  • Chair alignment reviews across functions as required.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the end to end Supply Chain Flows.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Graduate education or equivalent experience
  • Strong data analytical skills using a range of platforms
  • Experience with data analytical packages desirable (g. Alteryx)
  • Advanced Excel skills essential
  • Confident to analyse large data sets from multiple sources and identifying key patterns

Key working relationships:

  • Global Supply Chain Planning Functions
  • Commercial and Global Strategic Marketing
  • Supply Chain Product Management
  • Deliver and Make Organisations
  • Inventory Management

Challenges:

  • Often at the "front line" when dealing with issues that may be out of your control
  • Business critical role that can be stressful and time demanding
  • Requires a flexible approach to work commitments
