Burlington School is an independent English Language School based in the South West London. The school was established in 1990, and in 2018 the school provided courses for over 1600 students from nearly 70 different countries.

Responsible to the Marketing Director, the PA to the Marketing Director has responsibility for ensuring all administration relating to sales and operations is completed, and will act a representative of the school to students and other clients. Although the role is largely office-based, there is a strong customer-facing element to the role. The PA to the Marketing Director is able to work on his or her own initiative but also as part of a team, and has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Working hours are flexible, and some weekend and out-of-office hours work is required.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Preparing reports on student enrolments and other key financial and operational areas
  • Working alongside the Marketing Director to develop relationships with organisations in the UK and overseas to increase the uptake of Burlington School courses, including:
    • education agents;
    • educational institutions;
    • companies and corporations
  • Building and maintaining relationships with current and future clients to ensure the smooth operation of the school, including:
    • requesting documents, including consent forms and passports, and uploading them to the school database;
    • ensuring fees are paid in a timely manner, and chasing up any late payments
    • maintaining students’ database profile
  • Deputising for the Marketing Director or other members of school staff at corporate and marketing events
  • Providing a welcome and induction service to student groups.
  • Assisting the Marketing Director with any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job
