Job Title: Nursing Home Manager
Salary: £55,000-65,000 per annum
Bright Selection Ltd are delighted to be representing a non-corporate group in the appointment of an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a medium sized home near to Norwich.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation which values the experience of their managers and supports new ideas.
They are looking for a Home Manager (preferably clinical) with an elderly care background. Someone with a proven track record of achieving Good compliance and high standards of care. This particular home has had challenges historically but is pending re-inspection with CQC and very positive recent local authority inspection reports. The new manager will be supported in post by an experienced and long standing senior management team and will be provided with the resource needed to enable the home and staff team to flourish and grow. There are longer term plans to extend and develop the home further.
The ideal candidate must have the drive and enthusiasm to support and motivate a staff team that have been through a lot of change. Agency usage in the home is minimal and there is an experienced Deputy Manager and nurses in post.
·Proven track record of managing a Good rated care homes
·Level 5 Management or equivalent qualification
·Experience of leading and developing staff teams
·Nurse qualification is desirable but not essential
·Specialist training, knowledge or interest in Dementia care
·Proven ability in budget preparation and control
·Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation
·Confident IT user, with good working knowledge of Word and Excel
·Ensure that the highest level of care standards are maintained at all times through quality assurance monitoring
·Maintain a proactive and positive approach to complaints
·Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision
·Recruit, develop and train staff within QCF framework
·Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines
·Assist in setting the annual budget for the home, monitor and control budgets on an ongoing basis
·Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies and plans
·Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community
·Salary offered in the region of £55,000-65,000 pa negotiable depending on qualifications, skills and experience
