Mid-level Java Software Engineer required to join our financial client in central London on a 6 month onsite contract.
Our client is a large financial institute with an innovative and flexible working environment.
The project is a greenfield system that is driven by regulation requirements and the migration of a spreadsheet based system to Java architecture.
We seek a mid-level Java Developer to assist the implementation team through best practices for Java development and Java architecture.
Assist with the design/architecture of this system
Development of tasks associated with the implementation of the system
Conducting developer level testing
Working with in-house teams to build, integrate, test and deploy system components
Java development experience ideally building enterprise level systems
Experience in designing the architecture of small to medium sized systems and components
Able to work on own and under pressure
Ability to prioritise effectively
Architecture Design of large and enterprise level systems and components
Team leadership and mentoring experience
Experience working with spreadsheet (Excel) development and working with spreadsheet based processes
