Marketing Manager

OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and creative marketing professional to join our busy communications team as one of our Marketing Executives.

You will be involved in the production and distribution of marketing materials across both print and digital channels. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across all areas of the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) and the masonic community to ensure the successful delivery of marketing activities and projects to promote the work of the charity.

The ideal candidate will already have experience within a marketing role and have a track record of delivering projects to tight deadlines and prioritising workloads. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to be successful in this role along with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

JOB PURPOSE
  • Ensuring there is a strong presence ofthe MCF’s activitiesamongstfreemasons, their familiesandwidersociety.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in the generation of marketing content to help raise the MCF’s profile within freemasonry and beyond.
  • Supporting the process for producingeffective marketing collateral and digital content topromote the MCF’sactivities.
  • Maintainingeffective relationships withinternalclients, external suppliersandMasoniccontacts.
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

  • Experience in amarketingrole
  • A positive, proactive, can-do attitudewith the ability to problem-solve in orderto achieve organisational objectivesandprojecttargets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing and communications practices across print and digital channels.
  • Proven track record indevelopingmarketinginitiativesfrom inception tocompletion.
  • A track record of delivering projectsto tight deadlines and prioritisingworkload.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write persuasively to a rangeof audiences.
  • Buildingeffective relationships with colleagues andother stakeholders.
  • Confidenceto communicate withothers.
  • An ability to work on own initiativeandexecute plans without supervision.
  • Strong IT skills, including MicrosoftOffice and proficiency in usingdesktoppublishing tools, contentmanagementsystems and onlineapplications.
