Vargo is recruiting exclusively for a Management Accountant to join our successful growing manufacturing client based in Caerphilly. The role will be responsible for supporting the financial controller on all aspects of finance but also working for the commercial teams around costing, pricing and operational analysis. This role will suit a part qualified accountant who has several years commercial experience who is looking to develop and grow their experience. The financial controller will support training and development but wants someone who is keen on learning and developing.
This role will suit someone who is looking to qualify in the next 2/3 years and offers study support.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPONSIBILITIES
20% analytical/management accounts
Product and manufacturing costing experience
Provide variance analysis
Monthly and weekly KPI reporting on cost vs budget
Commercial analysis on customers, product lines and production
Monitoring and Reporting on Production Output and Actual Spending.
Working Capital movement reporting and Debtor days and Creditor days tracking.
Supporting the month-end close, reconciliations
This aspect of the role will develop over time
Support the sales ledger and credit control
Help to oversee the payroll when the payroll officer is on holiday
Deputised for the Financial Controller
A Part-qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
At least 2 years Finance working experience in an SME or fast paced commercial environment.
Ideally have some costing knowledge but not essential
Good attention to detail
Confidence speaking to customers and suppliers
