Your new company
Well known university based in London is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience of networking to come on board for an initial 3 month contract with the high likelihood of an extension.
Your new role
Working on a specific project, you will be providing networking and overall infrastructure expertise for the project.
Working with suppliers, you will deliver and configure new core switches and help to implement a new next generation firewall amongst other duties and responsibilities such as auditing, supporting on diagrams and low level design. The split of the role will be 70% networking and 30% infrastructure.
What you'll need to succeed
Must have a strong infrastructure background that leans more towards networking. Ideally you will have knowledge of OSPF though this is not essential. However, you must have experience working in networking contracts and be comfortable in liaising with suppliers and stakeholders previously.
