This unique role will give you the chance to work alongside the Technical Director for a company who are creating cutting edge technology which is used on a global scale. Unlike most graduate schemes where you will be pigeonholed into a specific technical area this role will allow you to gain exposure to a range of engineering projects involving hands on development and R&D.

The company are of a size where they can offer an entrepreneurial feel to the team, providing the platform to make significant improvements to products and projects with the financial security of being owned by a large parent company.

The position is extremely diverse and could involve anything from hands on manufacturing and testing of electro-mechanical products to working on project improvements with teams of mechanical, electronics, project and systems engineers. Working closely on a day to day basis with the Technical Director will give you the opportunity to be involved in a huge variety of technical areas and ultimately the chance to then eventually progress within the company in your chosen area of expertise.

For the role we are looking for….

-          A formal engineering qualification ideally in mechanical or electronic engineering.

-          Hands on engineering experience with the ability to work on practical testing and manufacturing tasks working with electro-mechanical products.

-          A can-do attitude with a flair for problem solving.

-          A strong communicator who is comfortable liaising with cross functional teams of engineers at all levels.
