Description: Added by Roevin - Our Client have a great opportunity for a Graduate Applications Engineer to join their Edinburgh based team.
Their R&D Centre develop key elements for fast moving consumer electronic products which are constantly evolving.
The successful candidate should hold a degree (or equivalent) in physics, Electronics or relevant engineering discipline and have strong system and analysis capabilities, with excellent communication skills.
You will be part of a team who are responsible for the technical support activities (doc, validation, training, board design)
Ensuring the correct level of communication and exchange of data. Consolidate status of the product support activities & regular report Interface with the internal customer whenever required.
You will work with various teams to provide the best possible solutions from the company's devices.
Collaboration with colleagues locally and in the wider design/engineering division various sites .
Degree in Physics or Electronic Engineering
Understanding/Knowledge of validation of semiconductor products
Exposure of SW Development (Python) essential
Knowledge/Experience of Data Analysis - SAS JMP, MATLAB, XLS Desireable
Good customer service and liaison skills
Use of Lab Test Equipment,
Familiar with Schematic Capture Familiar with PCB design
