Global Services and Solutions Marketing Consultant
EY's global Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function supports EY's purpose of Building a Better Working World by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact. EY's Vision 2020 sets an ambitious target to become a $50b distinctive professional services firm and includes having the 'best' brand, being the most favoured employer in the market, being the #1 or #2 in market share in our chosen services by 2020.
The Global Solutions and Services BMC team is a newly formed strategic function that provides BMC leadership to the delivery of the Vision 2020+ Winning in the market priorities ("solutions"): Alternative Business Models, Managed Services, and the EY Data Agenda. The Global Solutions and Services function will develop and execute EY's Global Solutions and Services brand, marketing and communications strategy and activation across all three solutions. The Global Solutions and Services team will be responsible for developing and building standardised assets, processes, and plans that allow BMC to further industrialise and expand our Solutions & Services BMC capabilities and deliverable. The new function will focus on five key areas and the team's success will be measured by its ability to:
Expand EY's addressable market: differentiated brand position for each value proposition
Connect target buyers to new value propositions: create distinctive buyer experiences and drive revenue growth
Embed into and leverage EY's Solutions across all firm-wide go-to-market activities
Educate and engage EY communities on new value propositions and business development tools
Focus market activation in targeted priority regions and accounts, delivering measurable market impact
This is a 6 month contact initially
Competitor & Analyst insights: Lead the Solution & Services competitor and analyst insights, informing Solution teams of all material market changes that could impact our BMC priorities.
Sustained measurable market impact: Deep understanding of building insights-led BMC goals, strategy and tactical plans which deliver measurable market impact aligned to each solution's market and growth priorities.
Differentiate EY in the market: Develop a Client Value Proposition that differentiates EY in the external market and create a distinctive EY buyer journey and experience.
Content strategy, asset build & execution: Develop issue-based, buyer-centric content that shapes the dialogue in the market.
Market Activation: Build and execute campaigns that create leading market position, connects buyers to solutions and drives revenue in targeted accounts.
Create and sustain high performing teams: Actively contributes to Solutions & Services becoming a high performing team, creating and sustaining good working relationships with teams throughout the firm, including Service lines, sectors, regional & BD teams.
Standardise to industrialise: Engage in the development of a new standardised approach to BMC, where each solution BMC plan adheres to a single GTM framework. Manage and lead the creation and deployment of standardised assets across all campaigns globally.
Change agent: Embed Solutions & Services into the firm-wide activities and develop a differentiated external market position
Demonstrate a strong understanding of EY's Solution & Services business, clients' issues and buyers' agendas
Demonstrate excellent communications, interpersonal and networking skills in a wide range of situations and with people at all levels within the organisation
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the issues, trends and long-term implications for EY's brand and performance in all three Solutions.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Solution & Services market; manage BMC programs towards achieving BMC goals and market metrics
Coordinate digital-first complex organisational, cultural or operational marketing and communications programs that include market insights, campaign planning, building of creative content, market activation
Show high reliability and initiative, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail
A self-starter able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing several priorities concurrently
Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
Be a strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
Enable account teams by developing, expanding and sustaining long-term, strategic client relationships
Ability to effectively navigate EY's and BMC's matrix organisation to access, inform and engage the right people at the right time
Experience in marketing, communications or business development in B2B environment
Experience managing large scale global initiatives
Experience working in a cross-border environment (ideal but not essential)
Professional services experience preferred
