Sales & Customer Account Manager - Permanent - Newmarket. Our successful client based just outside of Newmarket are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity within their sales and customer accounts team. This is a full-time managerial position, with previous management experience being essential.

Within this role you will be responsible for leading the sales and account management team and working closely with other members of the management team. You will be proactive in generating new business and constantly growing sales with existing customer accounts meanwhile always providing an excellent level of customer service and account management. Your main duties will involve but not be limited to:

  • Generate new business through research and following up prospect leads.
  • Manage existing customer accounts and understand customer requirements to deliver a reputable and outstanding level of service at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the buying team regarding new product lines and delivery times.
  • Work toward individual and team targets within the sales department.

This is a varied and exciting opportunity for somebody to take ownership and further develop an existing career within a Sales Management role. The successful candidate will be proactive with a positive 'can do' attitude at all times, have a proven ability to manage a team and be able to demonstrate the aptitude to meet and exceed targets. You will have excellent communication skills and provide high levels of customer service by remaining calm, diplomatic and helpful to all accounts. You will also have excellent skills within Microsoft packages, including intermediate excel skills being essential, as well as an understanding of general databases and CRM Systems.

This is a full-time permanent position to work Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.00pm with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
